1.     A sample of a radioactive material contains 1018 atoms. The half life of the material is 2000 days. Calculate ;

    a)     the fraction remaining after 5000 days

    b)     the activity of the sample after 5000 days

 3.     A sample of radioactive material has an activity of 9.00  x  1012 Bq. The material has a half life of 80.0s. How long will it take for the activity to fall to 2.00  x  1012 Bq

 4.     Potassium 44 has a half life of 20 minutes and decays to form a stable isotope Calcium 44.
